Tattoos, your fav and the story behind them!!!!

OK well i am newbie to tattoos so i only have the 2.

My first tattoo was a small rose on my foot - it is to help me remember that i need to confident within myself. My first love told me that i was his rose waiting to blossom and this gave me the idea for my first tattoo!!!

My second tattoo is by far my favourite, i only had it done the other week but i fell head over heels love with it!!! It a butterfly with my mums maiden name initals NS incorparted in the wings. I chose a butterfly because my mum died when i was 8 and on the day of  her funeral there was a butterfly sat on her chair in the living room. This tattoo is on my back so that she is close to my heart and will always be watching my back for me!!!

I have one and only tattoo on my foot part and it's an Aesculapius. It's my symbol of my  great passion about medicine and helping other people. Everytime I see it, it reminds me of pain that I felt and my patients are feeling. Making me more sensitive over other people's discomforts.

my favorite tat story is not mine but of a friend's but it was really funny so i'll share it here: 

Helena got her first tattoo on her hip. It was a small butterfly to signify that she had become an adult. When it came to which way the butterfly would be placed...the tattoo artist asked if she wanted it to fly into the bush or out of the bush...I laughed my ass off the chair!
