i just recently got a tattoo 4 days ago.  Its my second.  I've been taking care of it to the letter, but I have this rash that is just spreading around the area of the tattoo.  A friend of mine got a tattoo from the same tattoo artist just 2 days before me and she also has the same rash.  Is this normal?  We think that it might be the AD ointment that we used (the same brand bought at our local store).  I don't remember this happening the last time I got ink.  Does anyone have an answer?

Its normal. Of course the the artist will not mention that the tattoo is only half done, the other half is with the healing. Keep your cool.. there's really nothing to worry about.... unless you still have the rashes after a number of days, then that's a different story altogether!
